A theme day celebrating the 100th anniversary of world famous Swedish cinematographer Sven Nykvist. A collaboration between FSF, the Swedish Society of Cinematographers, the Polish Institute in Stockholm, and IMAGO the International Federation of Cinematographers.

Special screening of Roman Polanski’s The Tenant (1976), photographed by Sven Nykvist. 

Special Still Photography exhibition by Piotr Jaxa.

Katarzyna Taras is a Professor at the Film School in Lodz and an authority on the subject of Sven Nykvist, also an authority on Piotr Jaxa’s exhibition.

Lukasz Bielan is a Polish Director of Photography, who worked with Sven Nykvist on Something To Talk About (1995).

Paal Bugge Haagenrud is a Norwegian Director of Photography who worked with Sven Nykvist on Kristin Lavransdotter (1995).

Knut Haraldsen is a Norwegian Chief Lighting Technician and Gaffer who worked with Sven Nykvist on Kristin Lavransdotter (1995).

Danne Myhrman is a Swedish Director of Photography who worked with Sven Nykvist on Fanny & Alexander and The Sacrifice (Tarkovskij).

Tobbe Andersson is a Swedish 1st Assistant Cameraman who worked with Sven Nykvist on Fanny & Alexander and The Sacrifice (Tarkovskij).
