The ARRI camera control monitor CCM-1
After years of requests, the ARRI control monitor is here. Film and Digital Times covers the new monitor in two articles. In the first article, Fred Mertne and Sean Dooley from ARRI and Greg Smokler from Creative Solutions share their thoughts on designing the monitor. Creative Solutions represents the familiar trademarks of SmallHD, Teradek, and Wooden Camera. The second article is more of a tech spec. The ARRI CCM-1 is essentially a SmallHD monitor customized for ARRI, where the ARRI menu interface merges with SmallHD’s video processing and PageOS operating system.
