Nordisk Panorama, CinemAfrica och Audiovisual Talks #5 Inom de närmaste veckorna bjuder vi på tre digitala Filmrum. Nu på torsdag den 24 september hålls ett webinarium i samarbete med Nordisk Panorama på temat Digging the Digital – Experiences in Times of Corona om pandemins effekter på filmlandskapet i relation till den digitala omställningen.
Tisdag den 29 september är det dags för #5 av Audiovisual Talks där manusförfattaren Cilla Jackertsamtalar med regissören Amir Chamdin om arbetsprocesser och samarbetet mellan manusförfattare och regissör.
Onsdag den 7 oktober håller Filmrummet i samarbete med CinemAfrica ett samtal på temat Diveristy, Inclution and Film Criticism där vi får möta Valerie Complex, Shaibu Husseini och Mark A Reid i ett samtal om filmkritik och inkludering.

Leica adds 3 new focal lengths to the Hugo range.
Joining the 10 existing Leitz Hugo focal lengths, the Hugo II lenses, named for their slower aperture, introduce new options that offer some size advantages and slightly different looks with the 75 mm and 90 mm, while the 66 mm fills the gap between 50 mm and 75 mm.

Funeral Services for Andreas Fisher Hansen DFF
On Sunday 25th of August funeral services were held for former IMAGO President Andreas Fisher Hansen DFF at Tibirke church in Tisvilde, Denmark. A substantial crowd of mourners was present, consisting of next of kin, family, friends and colleagues from the world of cinema from both near and far away.
Those of us who made the trek from a foreign country, uneasily anticipating a somewhat depressing service held in a dark and gloomy church, were very pleasantly surprised to find that the memorial ceremony was held outdoors in a beautifully idyllic countryside churchyard under a clear blue sky. The circumstances and setting could hardly have been improved upon.
