Rodrigo Prieto AMC ASC was prepping Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon when he received Greta Gerwig’s initial call about Barbie, and was immediately intrigued. “Any film Greta called me about I would have jumped on – I already admired her work and was drawn to her energy on the occasions we’d met,” he says.
We take a trip to Barbie Land with cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto ASC AMC to find out how he helped make writer/director Greta Gerwig’s concept of “authentic artificiality” a reality
